I would like to provide some updates on the BikeAcadia initiative.
July 29th – Presented survey results to BikeCalgary
November 6th – Met with and presented survey to City of Calgary Transportation Planning & Cllr. Gian-Carlo Carra.
November 30th – Presented survey results to Acadia Community Garden & Arts Society
December 9th – Presented survey results to Sustainable Calgary
January 13th – The Acadia Community Association wrote a letter to The City of Calgary Transportation Planning to look at options in Acadia for traffic calming and bike lanes.
January 19th – The Acadia Community Garden & Art Society wrote a letter to The City of Calgary Transportation Planning to also support looking at options for Acadia.

Thanks to those who participated in our Bike Acadia cycling survey.
I’ve put together a .pdf from the results. It contains an overview of Acadia including some socioeconomic statistics. It also identifies areas of work, play, & worship. Also highlighted are areas of improvement identified by the responses. Finally, the responses are included as well.
