Acadia Recreation Complex is OPEN

Updated July 5th, 2021

Hello everyone,

Welcome back! We are thrilled that Alberta has entered Stage 3 of the Open for Summer Plan as of July 1st. Alberta’s 3-stage plan explains how restrictions will ease while protecting the health-care system. This plan was activated to safely lift restrictions as vaccinations increased and hospitalizations declined. We are able to fully open as all public health measures have now been lifted!

Based on Stage 3 of this plan, the following will be in effect at the ARC:

Starting July 1st:

Masks – Mask use is no longer required, however we support those who may wish to continue wearing a mask.

Outdoor gatherings at the ARC – no capacity limits.

Indoor recreation – no capacity limits beyond our occupancy limits.

Sports and performance activities – resume.

Receptions – no capacity limits beyond our occupancy limits.

We encourage our users to assess and manage their personal risk during the final stages of the pandemic. Please stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms, or are in isolation/quarantine. For more information on this, please click here.

Currently open for bookings:

  • Squash and racquetball
  • Pickleball
  • Kid Zone
  • Hall rentals
  • Blood donor clinics

Once again, we want to thank each one of you for doing your part to get us safely to Stage 3! Now that our doors are open, we hope to see many of you again soon. We look forward to neighbours reconnecting, new meet and greets, socializing events, and recreational activities at the ARC! We want to give a huge round of applause to the ARC staff for their continued efforts keeping our facility safe, clean, and organized.
